I'm finally ready to upgrade from my old GTX 1070 that's been holding on for a decade. My PC is really starting to show its age, and I need a fresh build that can handle some gaming. I've been out of the loop for a while, so I'm looking for feedback on my proposed setup. I've made sure everything is compatible, but I'd love any insights or suggestions you might have. I'm aiming to play games like Kingdom Come 2 and Europa Universalis 5 on a 1440p monitor.

Just throwing this out there—those coolers can be an expensive choice! Maybe you could save some cash by opting for something more affordable and shifting that money towards a better GPU instead. Also, if you’re considering the Ryzen 5 9600X, it’s a solid alternative with a lot of power for a reasonable price.

Looks great, but I’d recommend checking out the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 cooler instead; it performs just as well and is cheaper. Every dollar saved on cooling could go towards your GPU upgrade!
Your list looks solid overall! I’ve run systems with similar components, and I can vouch for the Ryzen 9 9900X3D and 7900XTX—both perform excellently. Just keep an eye on the memory speed—6000 CL30 is great, so I’d stick with that. People might suggest the 9070XT too, but either should get the job done nicely.
