Hey everyone! I'm new to PC building and need some assistance choosing between the 9070xt and the 5080 or 5070 Ti. I already have a CPU, which is the 9600x. Can someone explain the differences between these GPUs and help me decide?

I personally vote for the 5070 Ti, especially if you can snag it at MSRP. I found some models on Amazon, like the Asus Prime and Gigabyte Windforce, going for MSRP. The performance gap between the 5070 Ti and the 9070xt is pretty small, and you won’t notice it without tools like Afterburner. Plus, the 5070 Ti has better upscaling and ray tracing performance.

If you're in the US, I'd definitely go for the 5070 Ti, especially since it's only about $50 more than the 9070xt. It feels like a no-brainer to me! Also, the 5080 isn't really offering the best value right now.

It really depends on the pricing. Comparing the 5070 Ti to the 9070xt, their raster performance is about equal, but the 5070 Ti has a noticeable edge with ray tracing—like 10-20% better. It also shines in path tracing and has advanced features like better encoding and upscaling capabilities. The 9070xt, however, is better for Linux compatibility. If you compare the 5070 Ti to the 5080, the 5080 is about 15% faster but has only one decoder versus the 5070 Ti’s two.
