Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC and could really use some guidance. I've done some research, but I'm seeing mixed reviews about the motherboards and CPUs I've considered. I currently have an RTX 3070 from my old setup and want to find a good CPU and motherboard combo to pair with it. Ideally, I'm focusing on Intel options. Any recommendations?

For your RTX 3070, I'd say a modern i5 is really the way to go. If you're all about value with low heat output, consider the i5-13400F with a B760 board and DDR4. But if you want more longevity and better performance in CPU-heavy games, then go with the i5-13600K or even the 14600K on a Z690 or Z790 board with DDR5. Just make sure whatever board you choose has good VRM cooling and the rear I/O features you want!
First off, if you could share your budget, that’d really help! Also, I’m curious—why are you sticking with Intel? AMD is considered a great option these days. Just saying!
My budget is around 500 euros. I’ve always stuck with Intel because that’s what I’m used to. I did look at the i5-13600K paired with the GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS ELITE AX, but I’ve seen some pretty bad reviews on it, which is making me hesitate.
