I'm building my second PC and need some advice on choosing the right CPU and GPU for my setup. I have a 180Hz 1440p monitor and primarily play competitive multiplayer games like CS2, League, and Apex with friends. However, I also enjoy some visually stunning single-player games like Cyberpunk and Horizon Forbidden West occasionally. For those, I'm fine with 60-80 fps.
I'm considering the Ryzen 7600X3D for its 3D cache benefits with CPU-intensive games or the Ryzen 9700X, which is a newer model and similarly priced in my country.
For the GPU, I'm torn between the Radeon RX 9070 XT, which has more VRAM, and the NVIDIA 5070, known for better ray tracing performance. The 5070 is about $270 cheaper for me. My entire build's budget is around $2300.
I'd appreciate any objective advice or experiences and would prefer to avoid brand loyalty arguments like "team green" or "AMD is the best."

For your main games, X3D CPUs are perfect because they deliver more consistent frame times. The 7600X3D would definitely be a better choice over the 9700X. If budget isn’t an issue, the 9800X3D is the top-tier option. When it comes to maxed-out ray tracing games, investing in the best NVIDIA GPU you can afford is worth it. The 5070 Ti has been at good prices lately, but you need to act fast before they sell out again. Just be aware of pricing in your area too!
In my country, the 5070 Ti is around $1300, which is well out of my price range!
