I've found a used RTX 4080 (16GB Zotac Trinity) for $720. The seller states it's in very good condition and has been running at around 65 degrees Celsius under full load. They don't have the original box, but I can ask for more information if needed. I currently have a build with an MSI A520-A Pro, 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM, a Ryzen 7 5700X 3D, and a Crucial P3 M.2 1TB SSD. I mainly play CS2 and some PUBG, and I'm wondering if this graphics card will work with my setup. Is this purchase worth it, especially considering I'm protected via the platform I found it on?

Honestly, it seems a bit too good to be true with that price point. I’d be cautious and maybe look for more information before jumping in.
For that price, you might want to think about a newer card like the 5070 Ti. They just dropped in price and offer better performance, minimizing risks since they're from a newer generation.
Totally agree! The 5070 sounds like a safer bet without the potential risks of a used card.
What steps can I take to avoid scams? Given that I might not need a high-end card for my gaming, would it be smarter to go for something cheaper?
