Can Disabling My APU’s Graphics Lower CPU Temps Like I’ve Heard?

I came across a post where someone mentioned that they managed to reduce their CPU temperature by 20°C by disabling the integrated GPU. I have an APU (the Ryzen 5 8500G) alongside a dedicated RX 6600, and I don't really need the APU's graphics. I'm curious if disabling it could help lower my CPU temps too or if it could cause any problems? Currently, my CPU idles around 45°C and peaks at 60°C, which seems fine to me.

It’s worth a shot! Just head into your BIOS and disable the integrated GPU. If you ever need it again, you can always reset the CMOS battery. This way, you won't have to worry if anything goes wrong with your dedicated GPU.

Why not give it a try and see how it goes? It's a simple test, and you could find out if it makes a difference.

True, but I guess some people worry about making the same mistakes as others in the past.
