Why won’t my 16-pin cable fit into my power supply?

I've been struggling to connect my 16-pin cable to my power supply. I've tried everything I can think of, but it just won't go in. Am I missing something? Should I consider using an adapter instead?

Hey! First off, did you check if the cable matches your power supply’s brand and model? Sometimes cables from different models or brands don’t fit right. If the cable came directly with the PSU, that should typically work, but it's worth double-checking. Also, if possible, post a pic of it to get more specific help!

Yeah, it's indeed essential to verify that. I had a similar issue before; it turned out the cable was from another PSU. Just make sure it's the exact match!
