I'm considering getting a Gigabyte P450B power supply for just 33 euros, but I've heard mixed reviews about Gigabyte's PSUs and I'm a bit skeptical. If this PSU isn't regarded as reliable, would the Thermaltake TR2 S 500W at 42 euros be a better option? I'm replacing my old PSU that broke down, and I'm keeping things budget-friendly since I don't plan on spending too much on this, especially with a new PC build on the horizon. I've got a maximum budget of 55 euros for this replacement, excluding shipping. If you've got any other recommendations that can ship to Ireland, I'd love to hear them!

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend the Gigabyte P450B at all; it's pretty low-tier (E-tier) and known for issues. The Thermaltake TR2 S is even worse (F-tier) and could end up being a fire hazard. Instead, I'd suggest saving up a bit more and investing in a higher-quality PSU. It'd last longer and you can use it for future builds too! You might want to check out this list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/... for better options that'll still fit your budget. I'd aim for something from C-tier or better for reliability.
You really should look up reviews for specific power supplies instead of just trusting the brand names. Each model can vary quite a bit. Just a heads up, I learned the hard way with the Thermaltake TR2—had one that actually exploded on me! Take your time to research and make a safe choice for your PC.
Yeah, I'm planning to do more research later, just rushed to post this since I’m away from my main setup.
