My First PC Build: DRAM Light is Red, What Could Be Wrong?

Hey everyone, I'm really excited but also a bit anxious because this is my first time building a PC. I was testing the components to see if they work (posting), and I noticed that the DRAM indicator on my motherboard has lit up red. I'm not quite sure what the issue might be. I've made sure to insert the RAM sticks until they snap into place, and I've followed the manual for the correct slots, but I'm still having no luck. I would really appreciate any help you can provide! For reference, here's my PC build: [PCPartPicker Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/24YJLc). I also attached some photos of the build: [imgur link](https://imgur.com/a/LKG6icU). Thanks in advance!

How long have you tried leaving it on during the first boot? Sometimes, systems take a while to ‘train’ the memory, especially on first power-up. It’s worth waiting a bit to see if it clears up!

I haven't let it stay on for long during my last attempt. How long do I need to keep it on?

Make sure when you insert the RAM, the latches are open first. After inserting, they should click into place. If you haven't felt it click, you might not be pressing down hard enough. Also, check if the latches completely engage; sometimes one latch may seem to click while the other doesn't.

Yeah, my motherboard has a single latch on the right that hinges, while the left side is just a guide. The latch on the right does click when I push down hard enough. I think the RAM is in securely from the photos.
