Choosing the Right CPU and GPU for My First PC Build

I'm building my first PC and I'm a bit confused about which components to choose. I'm looking at two CPU options: the Ryzen 5 9600X and the Ryzen 7 7700X. For the GPU, I'm considering the RX 9060 XT 16GB or the RX 9070 XT 16GB. I've heard that many people lean towards the Ryzen 7 7700X because of its higher core count, but I'm unsure about which GPU would be the better choice. My budget is around $1,000 to $1,200. Can anyone help me figure out which combo would be best?

If you're mainly gaming, I'd recommend the Ryzen 5 9600X. It actually gives you a little boost in frame rates thanks to its better single-core performance. As for the GPU, it really depends on your monitor and what type of games you're playing. The RX 9060 XT performs really well at 1440p and for most modern titles, while the RX 9070 XT is a better fit for 4K gaming. If you're trying to save some cash, go for the 9060 XT!

I don't care much for 4K gaming—having a monitor that costs as much as the GPU is just silly. I have a 27-inch 1440p monitor, so I think the best combo for me is the 9600X and RX 9060 XT. I've also heard that the 9060 XT is pretty similar to the 5060, so that seems like the way to go for VR and Vtubing too, right?
