I'm having trouble getting my new PC build to power on. I've swapped out both the motherboard and the power supply, yet there are no lights coming on the motherboard. I've double-checked all the connections, and everything seems fine, including the front panel header. I'm using an Asus B650 Plus motherboard with a Ryzen 7 processor. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

If you're experiencing a complete no-power situation, it could be either a connection issue or a short somewhere. A good approach is to take everything out of the case, put the motherboard on a non-conductive surface, and only connect the essentials—CPU, cooler, RAM, and GPU if there's no integrated graphics. Then, try to power it on and see if it posts. If that doesn't work, you might need to test each component individually.
Have you checked if the power switch on your PSU is turned on? If you're not seeing any lights on the motherboard, it might not be getting any power at all.
Make sure everything is connected correctly: the PSU plugged in, any power strips are switched on, and that the case pins for the power button are hooked up to the motherboard properly. If everything's good on that end, your outlet should be fine since it has power for other devices.
Double-check that the power outlet is working. Also, ensure that the connection for the power button to the case is good.
