I've been struggling with my 2017 MacBook Air running Monterey 12.7.6 for the last couple of days. At first, I could access some sites, but then I started getting errors saying that sites couldn't be reached. I reset my WiFi a few times, and it would work temporarily. After contacting AT&T support for help, things took a turn for the worse. They had me connect to a different WiFi that messed things up, and I lost connection entirely. Now, I can access some websites but not others. AT&T claims there's nothing wrong with my WiFi, although I suspect something might be off since everything was fine until I reached out to them. I really need advice because I'm at my wit's end!

You might want to manually set your DNS server to either Google (8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1). It sounds like your laptop is having trouble with name resolution. If that doesn't work, consider swapping out your router.
Thanks for the tip! I'm not tech-savvy—what exactly is a DNS server and where can I find it?
