I'm looking to find the best Linux distribution for my Lenovo Legion 5 laptop with an i5-12450HX and NVIDIA 4050 GPU. I don't play demanding games; mainly, I edit videos using software like DaVinci Resolve and Adobe products. What Linux distro would work best for this setup?

You might also want to check out Drauger OS. It's built primarily for gaming but has tools that help with video editing too. Not as popular, but could be worth a try based on your needs!
I would recommend either Pop!_OS or Nobara. Pop!_OS is fantastic for your hardware since it's designed for NVIDIA drivers and video editing is a breeze on it. It comes with those drivers pre-installed, which is a big plus. Plus, it's got tools like OBS Studio ready to go, so it feels optimized for creators like us. Nobara is another good option; it’s geared towards creators as well, with everything set up for DaVinci Resolve and good support for hybrid graphics if you need it. Both are solid choices!
While Kdenlive works fine for simpler projects, if you're processing larger videos, DaVinci really shines by utilizing the GPU better. It's worth the extra effort if you can handle it!
Nobara is one of the best options out there for your use case. It’s pre-configured for DaVinci Resolve, which makes setup way easier. You'll also get integrated NVIDIA drivers right from the start. Just remember, if you choose Nobara, opt for the NVIDIA edition when you install it!
If you're editing a lot, DaVinci Resolve could be overkill for some work. You might find that Kdenlive offers everything most users need, but it really depends on how intense your video projects are.
What about using Kdenlive instead? I've heard it can be good for most users without needing a super high-end GPU.
