Hey everyone! I'm currently in my second year of university, studying programming. I've been using a Mac so far, but it's starting to slow down, and I'm considering getting a new computer. I was thinking about switching to Android because it might be easier for some programs, but I'm worried about the change since I'm used to Mac. I'm looking for tips on what to look for in a new laptop, ideally one that will last me through my studies and a couple of years beyond that. I also enjoy gaming, so it would be great if the laptop could handle that too. I'm considering Lenovo and my budget is around $1,000 to $2,000. Any advice?

If you want to keep your old Mac running better, consider going to an Apple store for a factory reset; they'll wipe it and reinstall the OS, making it much faster. This can be done for both laptops and phones!
Can you really only get Macs reformatted at the shop? Can't you do it yourself?
