I'm looking to upgrade my CPU, and I have an MSI A320M AC motherboard. Initially, I was considering the AMD Ryzen 5 5600, but I've seen conflicting information regarding its compatibility. Can anyone confirm if the Ryzen 5 5600 would work with my motherboard? If not, what would be a good alternative CPU to pair with my current setup, which is an AMD Ryzen 3 3100?

Check the CPU support list on MSI's website for your motherboard. It will guide you on what CPUs are compatible and also let you know which BIOS version you need to have installed. Make sure to update the BIOS before swapping out your Ryzen 3 3100.
You're in luck! The Ryzen 5 5600 is compatible with your motherboard, but definitely update the BIOS while your current CPU is still in. No need to buy another AM4 board just for that upgrade!
