My new PC turns on but has no video output—help!

Hi everyone, I just built my first PC using the following components:

- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 7500F
- **CPU Cooler:** be quiet! Pure Rock 3
- **Motherboard:** ASRock B850M Pro RS WiFi
- **GPU:** Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB
- **RAM:** Corsair 32 GB (2×16GB) 6000 MHz CL36
- **SSD:** Lexar NM790 1TB
- **Case:** DeepCool CYCLOPS
- **PSU:** SuperFlower Leadex V 750W

I powered it on for the first time, and while the RGB lights on the GPU turned on, I noticed a red and orange light on the motherboard and my monitor displays no video input. The CPU cooler and case fans are running, but the GPU fans are not spinning at all. I've let it sit like this for about 25 minutes before powering off and back on, but it's still the same after 15 minutes.

I'm pretty new to building PCs and followed a YouTube guide that my friend used successfully for their build. I'm really looking for some guidance as I've checked that the GPU is seated correctly, along with the power cables, but I still can't figure out what's wrong. I'd really appreciate any simple advice to help me solve this issue. Thank you so much!

Update: I tried testing the RAM sticks individually, used different cables from the PSU to both the GPU and CPU, reset the CMOS battery per the motherboard instructions, and did a BIOS Flashback reset as well, but nothing has changed.

It sounds like you're dealing with a hardware issue, especially since the motherboard lights indicate something isn't quite right. First off, make sure the RAM you’re using matches the motherboard's requirements and check that it’s installed in the correct slots (usually A2 and B2 for dual-channel setup). Also, double-check that your GPU is seated properly; it should go in straight without wobbling. Make sure all the power connectors for both the motherboard and GPU are securely plugged in. If everything seems in place but the GPU fans still aren’t spinning, it could be an issue with the GPU itself or the PSU not providing enough power. Don’t be scared to reseat the GPU; just be firm but gentle! Let us know how it goes!

Yeah, definitely recheck the GPU seating. Sometimes it can look seated when it’s not entirely locked in. If that doesn’t help, you might want to try booting with just one RAM stick to rule that out as well.
