How Can I Set Time-Based WiFi Restrictions on My Devices?

I'm looking for a way to limit my WiFi access on my phone from my computer at specific times. I want to block apps that distract me, like TikTok and YouTube, during study times. For example, I need WiFi access unrestricted from 8 AM to 7 PM, then restrict it from 7 PM to 9 PM, and finally allow everything again from 9 PM to 8 AM. My grades are slipping, and I really need to focus on studying. My internet provider can't help, so I'm wondering if there are third-party apps or code that can accomplish this.

Honestly, it's tough to combat distractions with just more tech. Sometimes, the best solution is the simplest one: just put your phone in another room while you study! If your siblings are on board, maybe have a family meeting to set some study rules. You could even challenge them to a Pomodoro session together—study for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break. It might just keep everyone accountable!

Have you thought about using a router that offers time management features? Most modern routers allow you to set specific access times based on MAC addresses, so you can block certain devices from accessing WiFi at designated hours. Just keep in mind that if your siblings use mobile data, they might still scroll through social media unless they agree to put their phones away. On another note, maybe try the Pomodoro technique for studying—it could help everyone focus while still allowing short breaks.
