I've been connecting to my HyperV hosted Windows 11 machine for over two years without issues, but today I'm suddenly getting a login error. I'm prompted for my credentials via RDP, but no matter what I enter, I get a 'wrong password' message. I'm sure I'm using the right password! Oddly enough, I can connect to a cloned version of the same VM using the same credentials without any problems. Also, I can access the problematic machine using another computer with those credentials. This makes me think my personal laptop is at fault, but I can log into other VMs without issues. In the Event Viewer on the Windows 11 host, there's a login error showing code 0xC000006D. I've tried doing a system restore and using the PC name instead of the IP address, but nothing has worked. Since I have many applications set up on this VM, I'm hesitant to delete the local user account. Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

Try clearing the Credential Manager on your personal laptop. It might be trying to use incorrect saved credentials. As a workaround, see if you can RDP into your VM with a different account; if you don’t have one, create a test account directly on the VM.
It sounds like you might want to look at the security logs for any unusual activity. Sometimes accounts get locked in a way that doesn’t show as locked, which could cause those login errors you're seeing.
