Has anyone dealt with OpenAI support for SSO lockout issues?

I've been struggling with OpenAI support for several days now after getting locked out of ChatGPT due to an SSO issue. As the Administrator, I've tried everything—the support team escalated my case, requested a video of the issue, and then just told me to consult my SSO admin. After that, they ghosted me! Now I'm stuck paying for a service I can't even use. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Is their chat support just automated? Seems like that might be the case with how unhelpful it’s been.

Have you talked to your SSO admin? Are you using something like social login (OIDC) or SAML? If it’s SAML, you should take a look at the SAML trace and error details for clues.

I am the SSO admin haha. The error indicates that the application isn't in our tenant, which means it must have been removed somehow since everything was working just last week.

Make sure to check your audit logs to see who deleted the application—there might be a clue there.

Have you checked in with your SSO team? OpenAI can only assist on their end, so if you can't do MFA, it's likely a problem on your side, not theirs.

I’m the SSO team! I’m trying to get OpenAI to turn it off so I can reconfigure it. The issue isn't that it’s blocked; there's a config problem between ChatGPT and Entra.
