Help! Stuck on a Blue Screen Trying to Install Windows

I'm having trouble installing Windows 10 on my PC. I keep hitting a dark blue screen during the installation but it's not a traditional blue screen of death. I've tried using multiple flash drives, and while I managed to get Ubuntu installed without any issues, Windows just won't seem to cooperate. Any suggestions on how I can get Windows 10 running on my setup? Here are my specs: Asus Maximus VIII Hero, Intel i7-6700k, 8GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance 2400MHz, and a GTX 980.

You mentioned that you're trying to install Windows 10, which is good because your CPU won't support Windows 11. Just double-check that you're using the correct installer for Windows 10.

You might want to look for any dump files that could help diagnose the issue. If you can boot into Windows normally or through Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump folder for any crash logs. If there are any, zip the folder and upload it to a file-sharing site like MediaFire or Catbox. Multiple files are better for analysis, so if you find just one, be sure to check out a guide on setting it to create small memory dumps too!
