Hey everyone! I just picked up a used EVGA X3C 3070 ti and paired it with a brand new Corsair RM750e power supply. When I powered on my PC for the first time, I noticed a clicking sound coming from the PSU. It ramps up fine, but it threw me off a bit. Also, when I shut down the PC, I hear this sharp metal ping from the power supply. There's a rubber thing pressing against the back of the PSU, but everything seems to boot up without issues. Should I be worried about these sounds, or is this normal behavior for a PSU? Thanks for any input!

Honestly, any sound other than the normal operation coming from a PSU is pretty concerning. If the clicking and pinging bother you, it might be worth returning it to be on the safe side. Better safe than sorry!
I recently got the same RM850X and noticed that click when powering it on/off. It seems to be the relays doing their thing. As for that metal ping, I haven't encountered that before, so I'd keep an eye on it just in case!
