Hey everyone! I'm putting together a PC for VR and AI, and I need it to keep the RTX 5090 cool while fitting into a compact build. I'm looking at using the Lian Li A3 case. Here's my planned setup:

* **Processor:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
* **Motherboard:** MSI B850M GAMING PLUS WIFI
* **RAM:** Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 5200MHz 32GB (2x16GB) CL40
* **Graphics Card:** Gigabyte RTX 5090 GAMING OC 32GB GDDR7
* **Power Supply:** Corsair RMe Series RM1200e 80 Plus Gold
* **CPU Cooler:** Noctua NH-D15S [chromax.black](http://chromax.black)
* **Case Fans:** 5 x ARCTIC P12 120mm
* **Slim Fans:** 2 x ARCTIC P12 Slim 120mm
* **Storage:** 4TB Kingston NV3 SSD, 6000MB/s, NVMe PCIe 4.0 M.2
* **Case:** Lian Li A3-mATX Dan Wood

Do you think this cooling setup will be sufficient for the 5090? I know fan placement is crucial, but am I on the right track here? Thanks for your help!

Five fans sound pretty decent! Just a heads up, those RAM sticks are on the slower side. I’d go for a 6000MHz CL30 kit to really maximize performance.

Got it! I'll definitely look into DDR5-6000 RAM. So if I request that upgrade, will everything else work out okay?

Your setup should be pretty solid, but I’d recommend switching to an AIO cooler to ensure that you're getting fresh air into such a small case with the 5090. Also, consider upgrading to 2x32GB RAM and faster memory, ideally around 6000 MHz CL30, for better performance. Also, be cautious about the storage since NVMe can vary in quality; make sure to get a TLC model if possible!

Thanks for the advice! I'm not very knowledgeable, but I’ll definitely consider the AIO cooler and the RAM upgrades. Any specific AIO fan you’d suggest?
