Is 83°C Too Hot for My GPU?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to quiet down my PC and noticed that my GPU temperature has risen to 83°C. I've got a 5080, and while I don't mind it being hot if it means less noise, I'm concerned about any potential damage it might cause. Is this temperature too high, or should it be fine?

Modern GPUs are designed to handle high temperatures, and 83°C is pretty normal under load, especially if you're pushing an overclock. They usually self-regulate to stay within safe limits. So, while it might sound alarming, you're likely in the clear! Just keep an eye on it during intensive tasks.

Just keep in mind that while 83°C is fine for regular use, consistent high temps can impact longevity a bit. Maybe invest in some extra cooling if you're worried!

That's good to know! But does running at that temp affect lifespan compared to running cooler, like around 50°C?
