I've heard mixed reviews about the Peerless Assassin 120 SE cooler paired with the Ryzen 5 7600X; some users complain about overheating while others say it works perfectly fine. Since I'm on a budget, I want to know if it's a reliable choice. Has anyone had experience using this cooler with that CPU?

I say go for it! I’ve seen people using it successfully with high-end chips without overheating. If they're staying cool under load, the 7600X will be fine!

For sure! Plus, with some tweaks in PBO settings, you can keep the temps in check!

Absolutely! The Peerless Assassin is definitely more than adequate for the 7600X. In fact, I was using a simpler 120mm single tower cooler with mine, and it handled things quite well. So, you should have no issues with the Peerless Assassin at all!

Yeah, I've seen people get great results without hitting thermal limits. It really should keep your CPU cool, even under load.

Common sense says it will be fine. Stock coolers can handle it, so you’re definitely covered with the Peerless!

Honestly, it might even be a bit overkill. I've got a Dual Tower cooler on an older Intel CPU, and it efficiently manages heat. If the Peerless can manage a 9800X3D, then the 7600X should be a walk in the park for it.

I’ve got a 7800X3D and it stays below 60 degrees gaming. The Peerless Assassin will make your setup run cooler than a stock cooler, no problem!

Comparatively, you'll find that the stock cooler handles the 7600X fine, so the Peerless will definitely keep it cooler and quieter. Just a heads up, it might get a bit noisy at full throttle, but overall it's a solid investment!

If you’re concerned about noise, maybe look into the 140 model—it’s supposed to be even better!
