I thought about just upgrading a few components, but I'm leaning towards using what I can from the old PC instead. I want to ensure my new build is future-proof and can be easily upgraded over time.
I have a decent budget to replace everything if needed, but I'd love to save some cash by reusing any parts that are worthwhile. Here's what I'm working with:
- **CPU:** Intel i7-12700KF
- **Motherboard:** ASRock B660M HDV micro ATX
- **RAM:** 2x8 GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance
- **GPU:** Nvidia RTX 3060 12GB
- **Cooling:** Phanteks Glacier One 240 AIO
- **Power Supply:** 750W Gamdias Kratos M1
- **Storage:** 1TB Kingston NV2 M.2, and 1TB Patriot P210 SATA 3

Your current CPU is strong, especially for gaming! I recommend just upgrading the GPU first. If you notice a bottleneck afterward, then think about upgrading the rest. Just check how many PCIe connectors your PSU has; you might need to upgrade it if you grab a high-end GPU.
Honestly, you might want to swap out the power supply and GPU for better performance. The CPU is still good, especially if you're planning on gaming at 1440p or higher resolution. It won't bottleneck your performance too much.
