I have a school-issued Mac, and recently we lost our administrator permissions. This has caused my date and time to be set incorrectly, showing a date from about a week ago and 6 hours behind. I don't remember making this change, but now I'm stuck with it. Is there a way to fix the time myself without admin rights?

To correct the date and time on your Mac, try going to the Apple menu and accessing System Settings. From there, click on General, then navigate to Date & Time. However, given that you’ve lost admin access, you might not be able to change those settings. It's usually restricted for school devices.

Yeah, I agree. If your permissions are restricted, you might need to contact your school’s IT department to have them fix it for you.
