I recently installed Pop!_OS on my Asus laptop, but I've noticed that MyAsus doesn't support Linux. I want to keep my battery charged at 60%, and I've heard good things about TLP. Can anyone tell me if TLP is safe and legitimate, or could it be malware? Thanks in advance!

TLP is definitely legit! Many users have it running on their systems without issues. You're good to go with it.

If you're using Pop!_OS, depending on whether you have Gnome or the new Cosmic desktop, you might want to check out the 'battery health charging' extension. It worked well for my Asus TUF laptop!

Yep, TLP is considered safe. I've used it on Linux without any concerns. Give it a try!

TLP is safe as long as you install it from your distro's package manager. I've been using it without problems, so you should be fine!
