Hey everyone! First off, thanks for all the help I received on my previous post about my new build and PSU compatibility. Now, I'm looking at upgrading my GPU to a 5070 ti, which seems to be a great choice based on cost and performance. My concern is whether my current power supply, a Corsair GS850W, will be sufficient to support this upgrade. Here's my current setup: I'm running an NVIDIA 3060 ti, AMD Ryzen 9800x3d, an Asus x870 TUF Plus WiFi, and 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM. Since my 3060 ti used a 6+2 pin adapter, I'm curious how this will work with the 5070 ti. Appreciate any insights!

An 850W PSU is definitely sufficient! Your CPU peaks at around 220W, and the GPU peaks at about 250W, so you’ll total around 570W for your whole system.
Your PSU is actually more than enough for a 5070 ti. It’s likely to come with an adapter too.
For the 5070 ti, depending on the specific model, you’ll need at least 2 PCIe cables. Check if your current PSU has those available. If it does, you're set! Otherwise, it might be time for an upgrade. But honestly, your 850W PSU is fine.
That’s true, but remember you’ll need at least 2 PCIe cables for the 5070 ti.
