Why Isn’t My Ryzen 3700X Getting Video Output on A520M-ITX?

I've been trying to downsize my gaming PC and I'm running into a frustrating issue. My system seems to boot up, but I'm getting no video output on any of the ports on both the motherboard and the GPU. I've tested different screens using HDMI and DisplayPort, but still no luck. I checked a couple of threads where users had similar problems, but they used different CPUs.

For reference, my setup includes:
- **Motherboard**: A520M-ITX/ac
- **CPU**: Ryzen 7 3700X
- **RAM**: 16GB G.Skill Flare X K2 3200MHz
- **GPU**: ASUS Dual RTX 3070

According to the motherboard specs, my CPU should be compatible with all BIOS versions, yet I'm stuck with this video output issue. I've swapped out hardware and cables to troubleshoot, but nothing seems to work. This board also doesn't support an external BIOS flash, so I'm running out of ideas. Any thoughts?

Your CPU, the Ryzen 7 3700X, doesn't have integrated graphics. So, even if you plug a monitor into the motherboard, it won't display anything. You'll need to ensure your GPU is properly installed for video output. Also, be cautious with the PSU cables since they aren't always interchangeable; using the wrong ones could cause problems during boot-up.

Another thing to consider is whether you're using the right BIOS version for your motherboard. Check if any labels on the box mention the current BIOS version. You could also try testing one RAM stick at a time; it can sometimes clear up any issues. Good luck with the build!

Hey, that's a good point! When I was building my setup, I ran into RAM issues too! It’s worth trying one stick at a time in different slots. It's funny how these things can work after some trial and error, right? Glad you’re making progress!
