Hey everyone! I'm feeling pretty drained from all the distro hopping lately. My first distro was EndeavourOS with KDE, then I switched to Nobara, and after that to Garuda Dr460nized, which ended up using too much memory. I went back to Nobara KDE, but I'm starting to wonder if it's the distro or the desktop environment that's causing issues. I really want to find 'the one'—a distro that's great for gaming, streaming with OBS, and using DaVinci Resolve. I also need something that supports productivity tools like LibreOffice, and I have an NVIDIA GPU, so proper drivers are a must. I'm kinda looking to switch up from KDE Plasma since it has its bugs and I'm interested in trying a lighter DE. Any suggestions? I would really appreciate the help! :3

Honestly, many new users complicate things way too much. For stability, try out Fedora, Ubuntu, or Mint. Just keep in mind that if you're gaming on Linux, you might have to do a little tinkering for peripherals and drivers.
Have you considered Linux Mint? It's super user-friendly, stable, and works great for gaming and productivity.
Check out Debian 13! It’s rock solid and you probably won’t need anything else once you try it.
I’d recommend POP!_OS if you're gaming. It's optimized for gaming, especially with NVIDIA drivers.
If you're looking for a light environment, give XFCE a shot! It's not the prettiest out of the box, but it's really stable and doesn't use a ton of resources.
