I'm thinking about buying a PC from a friend for $750. Here are the specs: Ryzen 5 3600x processor, MSI Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060Ti graphics card, 32GB of G.SKILL DDR4 RAM at 3000MHz, ASRock X570 Pro 4 motherboard, 1TB SSD plus a 240GB SSD for storage, and a Corsair RM850X power supply. It also has seven large RGB cooling fans, a Cooler Master water cooler for the CPU, a fan on the power supply, and two fans on the graphics card. I'm curious if this is a good deal, are the specs decent, and whether I should negotiate the price. Can it handle new games that are coming out in 2025 and beyond?

Honestly, $750 sounds a bit steep. The Ryzen 5 3600x and RTX 3060 Ti are getting older, and you might find that it struggles with the latest games. From what I see, this build is more worth around $600-700 CAD at most. You could check benchmark results for the games you're interested in to see how it'll perform.
The specs aren't terrible, but keep in mind that both the CPU and GPU are around 6-7 years old. If you're looking for a PC for future games, you might be better off spending a bit more on a newer build. $1000 would probably get you something modern that can handle upcoming releases much better.
Thanks for the input! Looks like I might need to hold out for a better deal.
Right? It's totally not ideal for new titles. If you're serious about gaming for 2025+, you might want to save a bit more and invest in a newer setup.
