Hey everyone! I'm curious about how you're managing your Kubernetes workflows. Are you integrating your logs and metrics directly into your existing setup where you're managing your configs and using kubectl? Do you have any AI-powered tools that help surface insights from your logs and metrics? My ideal scenario would be to have a solution where I can edit my configs, run commands, and access observability data all in one place to avoid constantly switching between different tools. How are you guys tackling this challenge?

I totally get where you're coming from! I've been using Cursor for my Kubernetes configs and kubectl commands. However, I'm also looking for better observability features since that's the missing piece for me!
It sounds like an Internal Developer Portal (IDP) might be the way to go for most of what you need, especially for the logs and metrics. Have you checked out Port? That could streamline a lot for you!
You should definitely try Lens. It's a desktop application that connects to the Kubernetes API and gives you access to everything you're looking for without needing to deploy anything directly onto your cluster. Just keep in mind that you'll need Prometheus set up in your cluster to see performance metrics.
