I'm planning to set up a dual boot with Linux Mint on one SSD and Windows on another. However, I'm wondering about the extra drives in my system. I have three additional SSDs that I want to use for storage. Is there anything specific I need to do to make sure these drives work well with both operating systems? Should I partition the extra drives, or can they remain as they are? Also, is NTFS the best format for these drives if I plan to install programs and games on them? This is my first time setting up dual boot, so I want to make sure everything goes smoothly!

You actually don’t need to do anything special for your extra SSDs. You can leave them in NTFS format and they should work fine with both Mint and Windows. Just keep in mind that while you can install games and apps on those drives from Windows, it's a good idea to check out some guidelines from Valve if you’re planning to install any Steam games on NTFS drives in Linux. Here's a handy link for that!
Those instructions don’t seem too complicated! But I've heard NTFS might not be the best for dual boot setups. Is it better to use exFat for those drives instead? Maybe I'm overthinking it.
