I had a pretty frustrating experience with EVGA support, so I'm not considering that brand anymore. I'm in the market for a new PSU and I need something around 1000W that's under $300. I've heard mixed things about Corsair and pretty good things about SilverStone, while CoolerMaster seems to get both praise and criticism. I'm running a 3080Ti and a 5800X, so I want to ensure I have enough wattage with some extra headroom, plus I'm aiming to stay high on the efficiency curve. Any suggestions or guides on great options?

With your specs, you’d actually be fine with a good 850W PSU. I recommend the Montech CENTURY II; it's very affordable and has a 1000W version if you really think you need that much power. Also, check out this PSU tier list for more insights!
I haven't seen this tier list before, usually just go with the Cultists Network recommendations. Is this one trusted too?
