Need Help Deciding on My First PC Build!

Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to build my very first PC, but honestly, I'm a total newbie when it comes to this stuff! I've picked out some parts (you can check them out here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4jwZMC) and got mixed feedback from friends. One friend says my choices are good, while the other thinks I've messed up big time. My budget is €2,500, and I originally made this list on a Dutch website (here's the link for reference: https://imgur.com/a/uU5JuMi). I'd appreciate any advice you can give me!

I think your RAM could use an upgrade; maybe look for something with a lower CAS latency than CL30. Other than that, your build looks pretty solid! Just make sure to check compatibility across all components.

I honestly don't really understand RAM specs, like what does CL30 even mean? Can you break that down for me?

You're in the Netherlands, right? Your part list could look a bit different based on your location. Consider switching some coolers out for more efficient ones, like the Royal Knight which is almost as good as the Phantom Spirit but cheaper. Also, the Corsair power supply can be swapped for something like a Be Quiet PSU which is just as good and cheaper. A good case to consider is the Lancool 216 RGB; it’s around €101 and looks great!

I haven't really picked a case yet! You shared so much info, but I made a new list with a 5080 included (here's the link: https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/wPFrkf). Is this one better than my original?

If you’re sticking with the 5070 Ti, maybe consider upgrading to a 5080 for just a bit more cash. The performance boost is worth it if you're spending that kind of budget. Plus, check this link for a better selection: [https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/d2QYxg](https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/d2QYxg)!

I heard the difference between the 5070 Ti and 5080 isn’t really significant. Is that true?
