I'm trying to figure out how to log out of my Apple ID on my old iPhone 4, which is about 13 years old. The problem is, I don't have the charger for it anymore since it uses a 30 pin connector. I've searched online for solutions but can't seem to find a clear answer. Is there any way to remotely log out of my Apple ID on this device? I want to recycle the phone, but I need to make sure my information is removed first. Thanks for any help!

You can remove the device from your iCloud account, but just so you know, that won’t erase the data from the phone. It’s a step in the right direction though!
Did you reach out to Apple directly? They might be able to assist you with your specific situation if you're having trouble with logging out.
Hey, I actually still have one of those cables if you need it! Just hit me up, and we can figure it out. It might help you power up the phone to log out properly.
Honestly, I bet there are tons of those 30 pin cables just lying around in people's homes. You could ask friends or family if they have one. If not, you can grab a new one online for about $5!
To erase the phone remotely, it needs to be powered on first. You can send a command through the Find My app on another device or by logging into iCloud from a computer. If you just want to log out of your Apple ID, you can remove the device from the devices list in your iCloud settings. Just keep in mind, if the phone's not on, it won’t get that command right away. Also, once you remove it, you won’t be able to erase it remotely.
