I'm on the lookout for the best Kanban board tools for developers. We've tried Trello, but it felt a bit too basic for our needs. Jira seems like overkill for what we require. I've also been exploring Monday.com, which I find surprisingly lightweight and customizable for our dev workflow. Has anyone had experience with Linear or Notion for Kanban boards?

It's interesting that Trello felt too barebones and Jira too much—maybe it comes down to not having a clear set of requirements. Last year, we went through a detailed process to figure out our Agile tooling needs and ended up with over 300 specific requirements! In the end, we opted for Azure DevOps for our development needs and Jira for business-related tasks. Getting senior management on board took more effort than just selecting the tools, though.
Totally agree! Understanding your team's unique needs is crucial.
