Is it normal for my iPhone battery health to drop after just 15 cycles?

I recently got an iPhone 16 two weeks ago, and while the settings show my battery health at 100%, I ran a shortcut called PowerUtil that claims it's actually at 98%. I've only gone through 15 charging cycles so far. Should I be concerned about this drop?

I heard that PowerUtil uses diagnostic data sent to Apple, so maybe it's not completely off. That said, a drop from 100% to 98% after 15 cycles isn’t anything to panic over. Lithium batteries can show small changes in health with normal usage. Just enjoy your new phone!

The reading from PowerUtil isn't definitely accurate; it’s a third-party app. It might be best to disregard it for now and just keep an eye on your battery performance. It’s not unusual for small fluctuations to happen, especially in the early days of usage. If your battery starts acting weird, then it might be worth looking into further.
