I'm currently rocking an RTX 3070 and contemplating a switch to the RTX 5070. The price difference isn't too crazy, but I'm curious if this upgrade is really worth it in terms of performance and features. Any thoughts?

Honestly, the 5070 isn't that much stronger than a 3080. If your 3070 is handling the games you want to play just fine, you might be better off waiting for the Super series instead of jumping to the 5070.
Based on estimates, you could see around a 45% performance increase in rasterized graphics when moving to the 5070. It's even stronger in ray tracing and path tracing, so if you're into high-end gaming, it could be worthwhile.
The 5070 Super is expected to launch in early 2026 with a slight boost in CUDA cores and 18GB of VRAM. If you're not in a rush, maybe wait for that? It could be a solid upgrade for your setup.
You might want to consider the 4070 Super instead. Its performance is quite similar to the 5070, and it could save you some bucks!
