Hey everyone! I was playing GTA Online today when my frame rate took a nosedive from over 120 FPS down to just 22 FPS. After checking things out, I discovered that my i5-12400F processor is stuck running at only 0.8 GHz. I've tried multiple solutions, including updating the BIOS, resetting the CMOS, and reseating the hardware, but nothing has worked so far. Here are my full system specs for reference:
- Processor: i5-12400F
- Graphics Card: RTX 4070 iGame OC V2 White
- Motherboard: MSI B660M DDR4
- RAM: DDR4 3600MHz Dual Rank Dual Channel Crucial
- Power Supply: Corsair RM750e Fully Modular PSU
Any advice on how to get my CPU back to normal speeds?

You should try changing your Windows power plan to High Performance. Sometimes, the power settings can throttle your CPU speed. If it’s already set to that, toggling it off and on again might help too!
