What to Do if My Cat Peed in My PC and Broke It?

I'm super frustrated right now! My cat usually uses the litter box, but with a new friend around, I think he decided to mark his territory and ended up peeing on my inverted mesh case PC. Now, my GPU is dead and the whole system shut down. I suspect that both my GPU and motherboard got soaked since the liquid ran right down to the PCIe slot. Is there any chance I can salvage my setup? Should I try using 99% isopropyl alcohol? I built this rig just last year with an old ROG 3080 Ti and a ROG Strix X670E-ITX, so I really don't want to lose it! Any tips on what I can do to fix this?

First things first, you need to fully disassemble your PC. Remove all covers and soak everything in isopropanol—scrub it thoroughly with a toothbrush since cat pee is really corrosive! Let it dry out for a couple of days and cross your fingers that it still works. Good luck!

Uh oh, I’m overseas in the Philippines, and they only sell 70% alcohol here, not 99%. It's hard to even get the medical grade stuff. Should I just try to find some liquor instead?
