Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a rugged body camera or wearable device that can take still photos and automatically upload them to a cloud account. I'm trying to find a beta testing option that can serve as an alternative to using a smartphone or a digital camera. Ideally, I need something similar to the Zebra WS50, which has a screen for framing shots and can run the OneDrive app for easy uploads. I'm not interested in the Zebra WT6400 as it seems too bulky and not covert enough. A colorful device would be preferable since it would be easier to find. Additionally, wearing goggles might be intrusive or a safety hazard for the type of work being done. The device needs to be tough enough to survive some drops and various weather conditions. If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears!

Have you considered going with real body cameras from Axon? They're pretty much the top choice in the body cam market. Plus, their devices are designed for durability and performance in demanding conditions.
If you want something a bit more consumer-friendly, you might want to check out the action camera market. Brands like GoPro, Garmin, and DJI have a lot of solid options that can easily upload to WiFi.
Definitely! GoPros are great because they have a whole ecosystem of accessories that could work well for your situation.
When I was working with some local police departments, we used Axon and also found Motorola's systems to be a solid, budget-friendly option for smaller towns. They focus on critical data logging and syncing with dispatch systems.
Totally agree! Axon's got a good reputation, and I believe they've made options available beyond just law enforcement, so you might find what you need.
