Is $2,895 a Good Price for a New Cisco Catalyst C1300-24XT?

I found a brand new, sealed Cisco Catalyst C1300-24XT listed on eBay for around $2,895. This model has 24 ports with 10GbE / 10GBASE-T, and operates on Layer 2/3. For those of you with experience in enterprise or SMB IT—do you think this is a fair price in 2025? Should I consider getting a used SX350X series instead? I'm looking to buy this for a small customer. What would you suggest I offer?

Just a random thought, but look into other models too. Sometimes, used gear like the SX350X series could offer similar functionality for less money, if you don’t mind the slight trade-off on features.

The current street price is closer to $3,300. Keep in mind that buying from eBay might mean you won’t get SmartNet support, and the lifetime warranty won't be valid. Also, just a heads up—the Catalyst 1200 and 1300 models don't use the real Cisco ASICs or IOS/IOS-XE; they run on a lower-tier ASIC, which isn't ideal if you're looking for top performance. If support isn't a concern, I'd recommend looking into a Catalyst 3850 or a used Catalyst 9000 instead. Higher quality for a better price!

Yeah, that's a fair point. Even though this one’s brand new and a bit below the ~$3,300 price tag, I understand it might not suit everyone's needs, especially without SmartNet support.
