Trouble with PDFs on Certain Dell Laptops

I've been struggling all week to understand why only some devices are having trouble with PDFs on a specific website. It doesn't seem to depend on the browser or even if I'm using incognito mode. All the affected users just get this sad PDF icon with a message about a failed CSP, but I'm not sure if we even have a Content Security Policy in place. The only commonality I can find is that they're all using different models of Dell Latitude laptops. What's really puzzling is that if I log into their device with my Windows profile, they can then access the PDF just fine. What could be causing this issue at a user level related to browser policies?

If it's only happening on that specific website, it might be an issue with their hosting rather than your setup. If PDFs from other sites work fine, it suggests the problem lies with that particular site. Always recommend trying to open them in Acrobat for better compatibility.

I thought that might be the case too! But then I realized I could open it on my work laptop without any trouble. Could it still be a hosting issue?

Have you tried opening the PDFs in a dedicated viewer like Acrobat Reader or Foxit instead of a browser? Many users face issues with PDFs behaving strangely when they're set to open in a web browser, and that might help you narrow it down!

Good point! Unfortunately, in this case, the PDFs are loading in an iframe, so that might not be an option.
