I just built my first PC and I'm having a fantastic time with it! I've installed Windows, updated my drivers, and even played a few games. However, I realized that I forgot to update my BIOS. The only problem is, I only have a Chromebook, so I couldn't perform the update. Now, I'm wondering if it's safe to go ahead and update my BIOS, and are there any particular precautions I should take before doing so?

BIOS updates these days are usually quite safe and smooth! The only real concern is a sudden power loss during the update. By the way, does your motherboard support a BIOS flashback feature? That could be handy.
Nope, it doesn't have that. Is it a big deal or just a nice-to-have feature?
