Why Does My Phone’s System Storage Take Up So Much Space?

I got an itel phone three months ago, and I just found out that my device is using 34GB of its 64GB storage for system files. My friend has the same model and he only has 12GB being used, which really confuses me. I'm running Android 14. Can anyone help me understand why there's such a big difference in system storage usage?

It could be due to pre-installed apps that you might not be using. Try going into your app settings and uninstalling any apps that you think are unnecessary. That usually helps clear up some space!

Have you checked if you both have the same apps installed? Sometimes, additional apps can really bloat storage unexpectedly.
