Why isn’t my old TV showing video from my Wii?

I'm trying to connect my old Sharp TV (from around 2007) to a Wii console using the standard red, white, and yellow RCA cables. While the audio works perfectly, I'm not getting any video; it just shows static or a no signal message. I tested the same setup on another TV, and everything worked fine there. I've also attempted to switch the output format on the Wii (like PAL, NTSC, 576i, and 480i), but that hasn't resolved the issue. According to the TV's manual, it should automatically switch formats based on the signal. Any suggestions?

It sounds like there might be an issue with the input on your TV. Make sure you're connected to the correct input channel. Sometimes, old TVs need you to manually select the input rather than it automatically detecting it. Also, check the RCA ports for any dust or damage.

If you haven't already, try cleaning the RCA connectors and making sure they're plugged in securely. If the yellow video cable is loose or dirty, it might be causing a bad connection, resulting in no video. Also, it could be a compatibility issue with the TV's signal processing.
