Hey everyone! I'm really excited to start building my first PC, but I'm on a tight budget. I've been checking out parts on pcpartpicker.com, and I noticed that the GPU is taking up nearly half of my total budget. I can save up enough to buy the CPU, motherboard, RAM, and power supply in the next couple of months, but the GPU will require a few more months of saving. My CPU has integrated graphics, so I should be able to test my other components without a dedicated GPU. Do you think it's a reasonable plan to buy the GPU last? I would love to hear your thoughts and any advice you might have. Thanks a lot!

That sounds perfectly reasonable! Since your CPU has an integrated GPU, you can definitely get video output and test everything out. You won’t be able to game on it, but for general tasks, you should be set. Just make sure the parts are all working before you grab the GPU later!
Thanks! I was really worried about the possibility of buying parts that would be DOA, so this makes me feel a lot better.
