I'm in the process of building a new PC and I could really use some guidance on how to accurately determine the right power supply unit (PSU) for my components. Here's a breakdown of my setup:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
- RAM: 2 x 16GB DDR5
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 12GB
- Motherboard: MSI PRO A620M-E D5 HDMI/M2 MATX
- Storage: 1 x SSD, 1 x HDD, 1 x NVMe
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

For your build, a 650W PSU should be perfectly adequate. If you want some headroom for future upgrades, consider a 750W or even an 850W. I recommend the Montech Century II 850W; it's around $90 and has a good rating on the SPL PSU tier list, which makes it a solid choice for your setup.
So, if I take the wattage from that and multiply it by 1.5, am I looking at needing 900W or something? Haha!
