Why am I getting a ‘No bootable device found’ error on my PC?

I'm having trouble booting into Windows on my AM4 system using my old drives. Specifically, I can't get past the 'no bootable device found' message. My main drive is a Corsair MP600 Pro, and here are my specs: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, GIGABYTE X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 motherboard, and 64GB of G.SKILL DDR5 RAM. I've also got a Western Digital 4TB NVMe SSD as a secondary drive, and everything else is in order. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

It sounds like you might need more details about the issue. What exactly does 'cannot boot' mean? Are there any error messages? Make sure your drives are recognized in the BIOS, and let us know what error you see. Also, what were your specs from the previous setup? A bit more context could help us help you better!

It's showing 'no boot device found,' and I can't access Windows. Both drives do show up in the BIOS.

Just switching drives between systems can lead to these kinds of issues due to driver differences. I recommend backing up your main drive and then formatting it, followed by a fresh Windows installation. This way, you can avoid driver conflicts and get everything set up properly.

The drive was working fine in another system, and it does appear in the BIOS.
